BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS WASHINGTON COUNTY, PENNSYLVANIA

relative to the issue by the said County of a Note for Two Hundred Thousand ($200,000.00) Dollars
as a temporary loan, was presented, duly seconded and adopted by the said Board, to -wit:
'%MEREAS, It has become necessary for said Board to borrow the sum of Two Hundred
Thousand ($200,000.00) Dollars for the purpose of meeting current expenses for the year 1959, and
to be payable out of taxes and other current revenue which have been assessed and have been levied
and to be collected by the County during the year 1959; now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of the said County of Washington,
that for the purpose of providing funds for the payment of current expenses of the County, the
proper officials of the said County are hereby authorized and directed to negotiate a temporary
loan on such terms as may be agreed upon by them, payable out of taxes which have been levied and
to be collected during the year 1959, and so much of said taxes as may be necessary to repay said
loan, with interest, is hereby set aside and designated for that purpose, and issue a note there-
fore, payable August 5, 1959, with interest from date of said note at the rate of two and one
fourth per cent (2 %) pers- amr*, free of all taxes levied by Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, which
said taxes the County of Washington assumes and agrees to pay, said note to be negotiated and
issued as follows:
PEOPLES FIRST NATIONAL BANK AND TRUST COMPANY, WA.SHIMTON, FA* * *. # - * * * - # - * * * * - - * * .$2,00$ 000.00"
Motion carried unanimously.
There being no further business to come before the Board at this time, the meeting
adjourned..

Motion by Mr. Cummins, seconded by Mr. Mazza, that the following resolutions in regards
to the sale of properties for unpaid taxes by the Washington County Tax Claim Bureau be adopted:

Motion carried unanimously.
Motion by Mr. Cummins, seconded by Mr. Mazza, that the Board of County Commissioners
setting as the Registration Commission of Washington County approve the following field registra-
tion day for the Primary Election to be held on May 19, 19.59,
March 30 North Strabane Linden School 1%00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. and
6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
Motion carried unanimously.
There being no further business to come before the Board at this time, the meeting
adjourned.
