Motion by Air. Cummins, seconded by Mr. Mazza, that Adbline Wright, Clerk in the. Tax
Claim Bureau, be granted an indefinite leave of absence, this action to be retroactive to May
16, 1959.
Motion carried unanimously.
There being no further business to come before the Board at this time, the meeting
adjourned,

Motion by Mr. Cummins, seconded by Mr. Mazza, that the General Fund be reimbursed with

Motion carried unanimously.
Motion by Mr. Cummins, seconded by Mr. Mazza, that the County Controller be authorized
to advertise for a policy of insurance for Public Liability within the limits of $20,000.00 to
$100,000.00 and Property Damage not to exceed $5,000.00 for each accident in a reliable and
approved stock company, protecting the County of Washington against liability imposed by law upon
them for damage on account of personal injuries, including death accidentally suffered by any
persons (excepting employees) caused by or resulting from the existence of repairing, and/or
maintenance of the various buildings, properties and operations of the County, including 136
bridges and approaches, and protecting the County of Washington against property damage imposed
by law upon them for the amount not to exceed $5,000.00 for each accident. Bids to be received
by the County Controller, in his Office in the Courthouse, Washington, Pennsylvania, until

11:00 A.M., Eastern Standard Time, Thursday, June 11, 1959, and opened immediately thereafter in
fthe Office of the County Commissioners.
Motion carried unanimously.
Motion by Mr. Cummins, seconded by Mr, Pettit, that Edward Bettinelli, Director of the
Veteran's Department, be deleted from the County Payroll until further'wtice, this action to be
effective June 1, 1959.
