Motion carried. Motion by Mr. Cummins, seconded by Mr. Mazza, that Minute Nos, 292, 2933,294, 295, 296, 297, 298, 299, 300, 301, 302, 3039 304, 305, 306 and 307, were read and approved. Motion carried. There -being no further business to come before the Board at this time, the meeting adjourned. W1613autl 195 .e Clerk Office of the County Commissioners Washington, Pa., June 16, 1959 Board of County Commissioners in special session, those present being Commissioners: Pettit, Cummins and Mazza. Motion by Mr. Cummins, seconded by Mr. Mazza, that the S. W. MILLER AGENCY, 40 North Main Street, Washington, Pennsylvania, be awarded the contract for the furnishing of Public Lia- bility Insurance and Property Damage Insurance, to be placed with the ZURICH INSURANCE COMPANY, and to be written for a one (1) year term, effective at 12:01 a.m., June 23, 1959, for the total amount of $2,060.60; this being the lowest and only bid received. Motion carried unanimously. Motion by Mr. Cummins, seconded by Mr. Mazza, that the bills submitted in connection with the Armed Forces Day Parade, held in Washington, Pennsylvania, on May 16, 1959, be approved for payment and the necessary voucher be prepared. Motion carried unanimously. Motion by Mr. Cummins, seconded by Mr. Mazza, that the County Engineer, be instructed to prepare the plans and specifications for the Bridge in Charleroi Borough crossing Maple Creek. However, the actual construction not to be undertaken hntil the proper proceedings are approved by the Court and the Pennsylvania State Highway Department and from any other proper tribunal. Motion carried unanimously. Motion by Mr. Mazza, seconded by Mr. Cummins, that the County Solicitor, be instructed to institute steps for the preparation of floating a $,300,000.00 Bond Issue, in connection with the County's re -assessment program. Motion carried unanimously.
