Motion by Mr. Cummins, seconded by Mr. Pettit, that Robert Conaway be appointed as Administrative Assistant to Keery McAmbley of the Washington County Redevelopment Authority; this action to be retroactive to June 16, 1959. Motion by Mr. Mazza, that Keery McAmbley, Director of the Redevelopment Authority for Washington County, be informed to appear before the Board of Commissioners, at a date to be set by the Chairman of the Board, for the specific purpose of the advisibility of hiring an Administrative Assistant. There being no second to this motion, motion failed to carry. Motion by Mr. Cummins, seconded by Mr. Mazza, that the following resolution to demolish buildings located at 955 Fayette Street, Eighth Ward, City of Washington, Washington County, Pennsylvania, be adopted: BE IT RESOLVED, that by reason of notice received from the Fire Marshall and the Board of Health of the City of Washington, and by report from Mr. Andrew J. Barnickel, Appraisal Agent for Washington County Tax Claim Bureau, the buildings located at 955 Fayette Street, City of Washington, Eighth Ward, Washington County, Pennsylvania, formerly assessed to Margaret Platt 358 MI N-U T E B-o 0 K BOARD O-F COUNTY COMMISSIONE S�=CWM A�SHIN13TON'COUNTY, PENNSYLVANIA FRANCIS E. ZZA, COMMISSIONERS MONONGAHKLA PUBLISHING CO Thompson, as per April 3, 1944 Treasurer's Tat Sale (1938 County Tax) and also assessed by the Cily of Washington as Frank Platt Estate, for the years of 1935-36-37-40-41-42, and now held by the Washington County Tax Claim Bureau, Trustee for the taxing districts, be razed and demolished. The buildings are in such condition that the same consititue-a fire hazard and a menace to life and health. Motion carried unanimously. Motion by Mr. Cummins, seconded by Mr. Mazza, that the following resolution to demolish building situate in Smith Township, Washington County, Pennsylvania, be adopted: BE IT RESOLVED, That by reason of notice received from the Deputy Fire Marshall of Smith Township, and by report from Mr. Andrew J. Barnickel, Appraisal Agent for Washington County Tax Claim Bureau, that the building situate in Smith Township, Washington County, Pennsylvania, formerly assessed to Bessie Kovach and now held by the Washington Tax Claim Bureau, Trustee for the taxing districts, be razed and demolished. The building is in such condition that it con- stitutes a fire hazard and also a menace to health and life. Motion carried unanimously. Motion by Mr. Mazza, seconded by Mr. Cummins, that the following resolution prepared by the County Solicitor providing for the issue and sale of Three Hundred Thousand ($300,000.00) Dollars General Obligation Bonds of 1959 to be used to establish a permanent record system in the Board for the Assessment and Revision of Taxes be adopted: RESOLUTION RESOLUTION PROVIDING FOR THE ISSUE AND SALE OF THREE HUNDRED THOUSAND DOLLARS ($300,000.00) GENERAL OBLIGATION BONDS OF 1959. WHEREAS, the Act of May 21, 1943, P.r L. 571, as amended, requires that the Board for the Assessment and Revision of Taxes of Washington County shall establish a permanent records system in the Board for the Assessment and Revision of Taxes, which system shall include tax maps of the; entire County, indicating all property and lot lines and identifying the respective parcels or lots by a system of numbers or symbols; property record cards arranged geographically according to the location of property on the tax maps, which cards shall set forth the location and descrip- tion thereof, acreage or dimensions, improvements, if any, owner's name, address and date of acquisition, assessed valuation and symbol number; and property owners' index listing all property owners and describing each parcel; and WHEREAS, the Board is authorized by said Act to enter into such Contracts as may be necessary to establish the permanent records system; and WHEREAS, it is necessary that the County of Washington borrow money and incur an indebted- ness in the amount of Three Hundred Thousand Dollars ($300,000.00) for the purpose of paying a part of the cost of establishing the permanent records system required by said Act, NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, and it is hereby resolved: Section 1. That proceedings be instituted for the increase of the bonded indebtedness of the County of Washington, Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, by the sum of Three Hundred Thousand Dollars ($300,000,00) for said purposes, by an issue of general obligation bonds of the said County. Section 2. Said bonds shall be three hundred (300) in humber, numbered consecutively from one (1) to three hundred (300), inclusive, each in the sum of One Thousand Dollars ($1,000.00), E 1 dated and bearing interest from the first day of September, 1959, and maturing in numberical order as follows:
