Cummins, that due to an emergency situation at the Washington County Re -development Authority Office, created by the presence of clover mites, it is necessary to retain the services of Selway Termite Company to exterminate said clover mites for a total cost of $175.00, Said services carry a one (1) year guarantee. Motion carried unanimously. There being no further business to come before the Board at this time, the meeting adjourned. Bassi, Chairman of the Washington County Redevelopment Authority Board, whose term expires on July 30, 1959, be reappointed as a member of the Board for a five year term, ending July 30, 1964. Motion carried unanimously. PETTI ,tM JEiHh�FRIAZZA, CammisstawERs YONONdnw.�. a wpn ran Motion by Mr. Cummins, seconded by Mr. Mazza, that the following application for county aid from Liquid Fuels Tax Funds received from West Pike Run Township in the amount of $4,,006.00 be accepted: TO THE DEPARTMENT OF HIGHWAYS: WHEREAS, There has been presented to the undersigned, Commissioners of Washington Count;r, Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, a petition for the Supervisors of Nest Pike Run Township, Washington County, wepresenting that a section of highway in said West Pike Run Township starting at a point across from Moose Hall and a portion of road consisting of a sharp curve leading to Crescant Heights Village 'about five hundred eighty feet in lenghth being about 580 feet in lenght is in need of improvement (or) maintenance and setting forth that said Township desires to take advantage of the provisions of the Act approved June 1, 1945, P..,L. 12421 and as provided in the Act approrod May 18, 1945, P.L. 803, permitting Counties of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania to appropriate arxl expend moneys for the improvement and maintenance of State Highways and State -aid Highways or any public highways in the Counties of the Commonwealth, etc,, therefore be it RESOLVED, That we, the said Commissioners of Washington County, in regular session assembled on this 24th day of July, 1959, agree on behalf of said County to contribute $4,000.00 from Liquid Fuels Tax Funds towards the improvement maintenance or damges of highway specified in the application of the Township of West Pike Run, above recited, provided, the Survey, Plane and Specifications for said improvement shall be prepared or approved by the Department of Highways and work done under its supervision.
