Motion by Mr. Cummins, seconded by Mr. Pettit, that the County Controller be authorised to advertise for bids for the furnishing and delivering of Tax Assessment Supplies for the year 1960, to be used by the Washington County Tax Assessment Office; said bids to be received by the County Controller in his Office in the Courthouse, Washington, Pennsylvania, until 11s00 a.m,, ?Daylight Saving Time, Monday, August 24, 1959, and opened immediately thereafter in the Office of the County Comi.ssioners. Motion carried unanimously, Motion by Mr. Cummins, seconded by Mr. Mazza, that the County Controller is hereby authorized to order new forms of checks in accordance with the sample as submitted by the County Solicitor. Motion carried unanimously. There being no further business to come before the Board at this time, the mating adjourned. Motion by Mr. Cummins, seconded by Mr. M&zza, that the following resolution for the changing of existing widths; lines; and location of State Highway Route 62205; Section 1; from Station 3 + 50.00 at the.Canton Tip - City of Washington Line through Canton Township to Station 9+03,43, loacted in Washington County be adopted. RESOLUTION BE IT M=VE? by the COMMISSIOWSR.S OF WASHIMTON COUN Y that the plans submitted for the changing of existing widths; lines; and location of State Highway Route 62205; Section 1; from Station 3+50.00 at the Canton Township - City of Washington Line through Canton Township to Station "3.43 at the center line of Euclid Avenue; have been examined by the County Commissioners and they agree that Washington County will not assume liability for any property damages resulting from the changing of the above named highway as contemplated by these Plans; or &My damages arising out of any changes or alteration of drainage resulting from the construction or maintenance of this highway; or &:W damages resulting to any property holdings of any Public Utility Ccmgaany; nor will. the County assume arq damages results to � resulting a� coal or other minerals in and underlying the pro- perty affected by this improvement; but that Washington County will contribute Abe led of Two Thousand ($2000.00) Dollars toward this improvement, � This contribution by Washington County is made with the understanding that paq+ment will be due only upon certification from the Secretary of Highways that the sum of Two Thousand Lol3are has been expended by the Department of Highways is the settl.ement of property damages for the aforosaid improvement. Motion by Mr. Cummins, seconded by Mr. Masza, that the application for County Aid from Liquid Fuels Tax Funds, as submitted by Marianna Borough, Washington God, Penneylvania, be approved in the amount of $2,000.04, contingent on approval by Department of Highways. This amount to be used for improvements in said Borough as outlined in their application which is on file in both the Office of the Chief Clerk and County Controller. Motion carried unanimously, Motion by Nr. Cummins, seconded by Mr.- Mazza, that the application for County Aid from Liquid Xwls Tao Funds, as submitted by Charleroi Borough, Washington County, Pennsylvania, be approved in the amount of $4,000.00, contingent on approval by Department of Highways. This amount to be used for improvements in said Borough as outlined in their application which is on file in both the Office of the Chief Clerk and County Controller. Motion carried unanimously, Motion by Mr. Cummins, seconded by Mr. Mazza, that the application for County Aid from Liquid Fuels Tax Funds, as submitted by North Charleroi Borough, Washington Qounty, Pennsylvaniia, be approved in the amount of 1,000,00, contingent on approval by Department of Highways. This amount to be used for improvements in said Borough as outlined in their application which is on file in both the Office of the Chief Clerk and County Controller. Notion carried unanimously.
