Motion by Mr. Cummins, seconded by Mr. Mazza, that the application for County Aid
from Liquid Fuels Tax Funds, as submitted by West Bethlehem Township,,Washington County,
Pennsylvania, be approved in the amount of $2,000.00, contingent on approval by Department of
Hiaways. This amount to be used for improvementswin said Borough as outlined in their
application which is on file in both the Office of the Chief Clerk and County Controller.
Motion carried unanimously.
Whereas, the Smith Township Supervisors, have requested the County Commissioners,
for County participation in the construction of the recreation center and drainage of a creek
motion was made by Mr. Cummins, seconded by Mr. Mazza, that the county defray the cost of the
rental of equipment used for loading and unloading of the pipe that will be used in the
-drainage project.
Motion carried unanimously.
There being no further business to come before the Board at this time the meeting
adjourned.

Pettit, and Cummins.
Motion by Mr. Cummins, seconded by Mr. Pettit, that Patricia Naccitelli, be appointed

as a Clerk in the Tax Assessment Office; this action to be reroactive to September 1, 1959-
Motion carried.
Motion by Mr. Cummins, seconded by Mr. Pettit, that Josephine Piccioni, -aho has been on
a leave of absence from the Tax Assessment Office be re -appointed as a Clerk in said Office;
this action to be retroactive to September 1, 1959.
Motion carried.
Motion by Mr. Cummins, seconded by Mr. Pettit, that the following persons be appointed
as draft4kaw-4nathel-Tax Assessment Office; this action to be retroactive to September 1, 1959-
Steven Miller
Edward C. Cimbala
Thomas Felak
Motion carried.
There being no further business to come before the Board at this time, the meeting
adjourned.
