Motion carried.
Motion by Mr. Cummins, seconded by Mr. Pettit, that JUDSON WILEY & SONS, 404 S. Main
Street, Washington, Pennsylvania, be awarded the coal contract for the 1959-1960 season to
furnish coal to heat the Courthouse and County Jail in accordance with specifications and.
I according to the following bid prices:
$ 7.45 per ton including deliverye
$ 6.05 per ton without delivery.
This award was made upon the recommendation of Mr. Crumrine, County Engineer, who after making
a complete study of all the bids submitted reported that the Judson Wiley bid conformed to•the
specifications fully. His coal analysis is up to date and all coal delivered will be deep
mined coal as specified.
Motion carried.
There being no further business to come before the Board at this time, the meeting
adjourned.

Motion by Mr. Cummins, seconded by Mr. Pettit, that the proposal of Steel-Bilt Con-

struetion Company, dated October 5 and October 6, 1959, for extra work on the 8 Plane T Hangar,
at the Washington County Airport, in the amount of $2,660 ,0O and Gutters and Downspouts in the
amount of $2,930.00 be accepted.
Motion carried unanimously.
There being no further business to come before the Board at this time, the meeting
adjourned.

Board of County Commissioners in special session those present being: Commissioners
Pettit, Cummins and Mazza.
Motion by Mr. Cummins,` seconded by Mr. Mazza, that Washington County enter into a
contract jointly with Westmoreland Gounty employing the Critchfieid Engineering ,Associates,,
