PETTIT, VQUCKKXX=JOHN MAZZA, COMMISSIONERS MONONGAHELA PUBLISHING CO Incorporated to work on the General Rehabilitation and Repair of the Donors- Webster Bridge. WHEREAS, The Commissioners of the Count**s- of Washington and Westmoreland met jointly on different occasions during the past year with reference to the General Rehabilitation and Repair of the Donora-Webster Bridge, and WHEREAS, it was determined that the present bridge structure was unsafe it was agreed that a contract be entered into jointly between the Counties of Westmoreland and Washing- ton and the Critchfield Engineering Associates, Incorporated of Pittsburgh to employ the said engineering associates to make a study and draw up plans and specifications for the repair of said bridge structure., NOW, THEREFORE, Witnesseth that the Commissioners of Washington County enter into such a contract jointly with Westmoreland County employing the Critchfield Engineering Associates, Incorporated to perform the professional services required for said project. The cost of said engineering services to be paid equally between Washington and Westmoreland Counties out of the Liquid Fuels Fund. Motion carried unanimously. There being no furtherbusiness to come before the Board at this time, the meeting adjourned. Motion by Mr. Cummins, seconded by Mr. Pettit, that the following men be transferred from the Bridge Department to the Tax Assessment Office as deed seachers, this action to be retroactive to October 8, 1959, Richard G. Ambrose Hubert N. Kyper Alfred Thomas Motion carried. Motion by Mr. Cummins, seconded by Mr. Pettit, that a refund voucher in the amount of $26.65 be made payable to Stanley and Pauline Pliska, 183 Wellington Avenue, Washington, Pennsylvania, due to a duplicate payment of 1959 County Tax. On July 31, 1959, the amount of $26.65 was paid by Stanley and Pauline Pliska for their 1959 County Tax on property situate in the 7th Ward of the City of Washington, Washington County, Pennsylvania, assessed in the name of Stanley and Pauline Pliska and described as 4 room frame house, shop, and Lot 352, Clark Plan. On August 1, 1959, the bank holding mortgage on said property also paid the amount of $26.65 for the 1959 County Tax (this being the correct payment), thus causing a duplicate payment of tax, therefore- a fefund is due to Mr. Pliska. The Tax Assessment Office, upon proper certification of payment by the County Treasurer's Office and approval of the County Controller, is hereby authorized to prepare said refund voucher in the amount of 26.65, payable to Stanley and Pauline Pliska, 183 Wellington Avenue, Washington, Pennsylvania.
