Motion by Mr. Mazza, seconded by Mr. Cummins., that the proposal of Remington Rand for the Records Analysis Service in the various offices in the Washington Co'unty Courthouse be accepted. Motion by Mr. Mazza., seconded by Mr. Cumminsq that the following resolution accepting Amendment No. 2 to Grant Agreement be adopted: IT40010)ftly The following resolution was introducted by Mr, John Mazza., read in full and considered: I WHEREAS, the Administrator of Federal Aviation Agency bAs tendered to the Board of County Commis- sioners of the County of Washington., Pennsylvania., aw-Amendment No, 2 to Grant Agreement for MTWU T EES O O 395 VJ �J BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERE�. PETTIT+ �OHN MIAZZA, Cammissicmeots MOHOH6AHtLA PU.LI.N IN6 CO Project No. 9-36-043-0701 at the Washington County Airport; and WHEREAS, the Amendment must be accepted in the manner provided in the terms and in accordance with the regulations incorporated in said Grant Agreement by reference; therefore,- - IR �W (1) That the County of Washington does hereby accept Amendment -No. 2 to Grant Agreement issued on the project by the Administrator of Federal Aviation Agency as set forth in the attached copy thereof; (2) The Chairman of the Board of County Commissioners is authorized to execute the Amendment of.Grant Agreement in behalf of the County of Washington and the Chief Clerk is authorized to attest such execution 'and to affix the County's seol thereto, and (3) A copy of the Amendment No. 2 to Grant Agreement for Project No. 9-36-043-0701 hereinabove mentioned; is attached hereto and made a part of this resolution. Lotion carried unanimously. Motion by Mr., Cummins, seconded by Mr. Mazza, that the application for County Aid from Liquid Fuels Tax Funds, as submitted by Stockdale Borough, Washington County, Pennsylvania, be approved in the amount of 2,000.00, conti4ent on approval by Department of Highways. This amount to be used for improvements in said Borough as outlined in their application which is on file in both the Office of the Chief Clerk and County Controller. Motion carried unanimously. Motion by Mr. Cummins, seconded by Mr. Pettit, that the County Controller be authorized to transfer from the General Fund to the Washington County Liquid Fuels Tax Fund $50,000.00; this is the fourth temporary loan for the year of 1959. Motion earri.ed unanimously. \ Motion by Mr. mains, seconded by Mr. Pettit, that a refund voucher in the amour, of $+135.66 be made payable to Mt. Lebanon Federal Savings and Loan Association, 733 Washington Road, Pittsburgh 28, Pennsylvania, due to a duplicate payment of 1959 County Tax. On August 11 1959, the amount of 135.66 was paid by Jerome L. and Johan J. Ostrow for their 1959 County Tax on property situate in Peters Township, Washington County, Pennsylvania, assessed in their name and described as 1 story house -stable 15 acres surface, DB 1021-323 Adj. Ochiuto. On the same date, the Mt. Lebanon Federal Savings and Loan Association also made paymexit on said property thus causing a duplicate payment and a refund in the amount of 8135.66 due. The Tax Assessment Office upon proper certification of duplicate payment by the County Treasurers Pffice and approval of the County Controller, is hereby authorized to prepare said refund voucher in the amount of $135.66, payable to Mt. Lebanon Federal Savings and Loan Association, 733 Washington Road, Pittsburgh 28, Pennsylvania. Motion carried unanimously. Motion by Mr,,Cummins., seconded by Mr. Pettit, that a refund voucher in the amount of $51.77 be made payable to C. L. Herman, R. D. 2, Canonsburg, Pennsylvania, due to a duplicate payment of 1959 County Tax, On July 17, 159, Mr. -Herman paid tax on property situate in Peters Township, Washington County, Pennsylvania, assessed in the name of Ce L. and Sophia Herman and described as (A -Plate) 6 room brick veneer, Lots 10-11-1.2, Brown Acres, (amount paid 49.96) (B Plate) Part Lot 9, DB 847-421 Brown Acres Plan, (amount paid $1.81) total amount paid #51.77, On lxagust 1, 1959s taxes in the same amount were paid by Mr. Herman, thus causing a duplicate payment and .a refund In said mount of $51.77.due.
