Herman, R. D. 2, Canonsburg, Pennsylvania. Motion carried unanimously. Motion by Mr. Gins, seconded by Mr. Pettit, that a refund voucher in the amount of $8.18, be made payable to the Pittsburgh Synod, Evangelical and Reformed Church, c/o Bev. H. W. Black, 24 E. Gaski.11 Avenue, Jeannette, Pennsylvania, because of an incorrect assessment resultinj in over -payment of the 1958 County Tax. The 1958 assessment records show the Pittsburgh Synod as the owners of 3,546 acres of surface, situate in Peters Township, Washington County, Pennsylvania; Allegheny County also carries the same assessment. The line between the two counties splits this acreage and the correct assessment for Washington County is 1.546 valuation of $325. On July 22, 1958 the 1958 County tax was paid at discount on the incorrect assessment. The amount to be refunded is based on $675, the difference in the assessment as corrected and as previously carries, being 8.18, the amount to be refunded. Therefore, the Tax Assessment Office, upon proper cer- tification of this incorrect assessment, and approval of the County Controller, is hereby authoris- ed to prepare said refund voucher in the amount of 8.18, payable to Pittsburgh Synod, Evangelical and Reformed Church, c/o Rev. H, W, Black, 24 E. Gaskill Ave., Jeannette, Pennsylvania. Motion carried unanimously. There being no further business to come before the Board at this time, the meeting adjourned.
