LANE, JOHN MAZZA, COMMISSIONERS NO. 1 Office of the Bounty Clommissionere Washington, Pa., January 7, 1952 Francis E. Pettit, W. J. Lane and John Mazza elected County Commissioners of Washington County, Pennsylvania at the Municipal Election held on the first Tuesday after the -first Monday of November, 1951, met in the Office of the County Commissioners in the Court House in the City of Washington, at 3 P. M., on Monday, January 7, 1952, being the first Monday of January following the said Election, for the purpose of assuming their offices, their respective bonds having been approved and filed with the County' Controller, and the oaths of office of the said County Commissioners subscribed to before the Court of Common Pleas at 10 A. M., of the said Monday, January 7, 1952, and filed with the Prothonotary as required by the Act of Assembly. The Board of County Commissioners proceeded to organize upon notion by Mr. Lane, seconded by Mr. Mazza, that Francis E. Pettit be elected Chairmen of the Board of County Commissioners. Motion carried and Mr. Pettit declared elected Chairman, The Organization then proceeded with Chairman Pettit in the Chair. Motion by Mr. Pettit, seconded by Mr. Mazza., that W. J. Lane be elected Secretary of the Board. Notion carried and Mr. Lane declared elected Secretary. Motion by Mr. Dane, seconded by Mr. Merza, that Joseph A. DiFilippo be appointed as Chief Clerk to the County Commissioners, bond having been given in the amount of $1,000.00 as required by the Act of Assembly. Motion curried. Notion by Mr. Dane, seconded by Mr. Mazes, that David H. Weiner be appointed Solicitor to the County Commissioners. Motion curried. Motion by Mr. Lane, seconded by Mr. Mazza, that Fred A. Caruso be appointed as Sealer of Weights and Measures for the year 1952, covering the period from the first Monday in January, 1952, to the first Monday in January, 1953s, with proviso that he may be dismissed upon !thirty days' notice. 1 Motion carried. Motion by Mr. Lane, seconded by Mr. Mazza.. that H. B. Crumrine be appointed as Chief Engineer in the Engineering and Bridge Department for the year 1952, covering the period from the first Monday in Janaxy, 1952, to the first Monday in January, 1953, with proviso that he may be dismissed upon thirty days# notice. Motion carried. Motion by Mr. Lane, seconded by Mr. lkzza, that Steve Shook be appointed Chief Registrar and Inspector of Registrations in the Registration Office for the year 1952, covering the period from the first Monday in January, 1952, to the first Monday in January, 1953, with proviso that he may be dismissed upon thirty days# notice. 4 Motion curried. Motion by Mr. Lane., seconded by Mr. Mazza,, that E. M. Lheureau, Jr, be appointed Director In the Tax Claim Bureau for the year 1952, covering the period from the first Monday in January.. 1952, to the first Monday in January., 1953, with proviso that he may be dismissed -upon thirty days' notice. Notion carried. Motion by Mr. lane., seconded by Mr. Mazza., that Morgan Hoge.. be appointed Building Superintendent of the Court House for the year 1952, covering the period from the first Monday In I January,, 1952, to the first Monday in January,, 1953, with proviso that he may be dismissed upon thirty days' Notice. Notion carried. Motion by Mr. Lane., seconded by Mr. Mazza., that Alex Patterson be appointed as Voudher Clerk in the County Commissicherst Office for the year 1952, covering the period from the first Monday in January,, 1952, to the first Monday in January,, 1953, with proviso that he may be dismissed upon thirty days' notice, Motion carried. Motion by Mr. Lane., seconded by Mr. Mazza,, that Alex Debreezeni., Jr.., be appointed as Purchasing Agent in the Purchasing Department for the year 1952, covering the period from the first Monday in January., 1952, to the first Monday in January., 1953, with proviso that he may be dismissed upon thirty days' notice. Motion carried. Motion by Mr. Lane,, seconded by Mr. Mazza., that Dusban J. Nicksick be appointed I Superintendent of the Bridge Department for the year 1952, covering the period from the first Monday In January,, 1952, to the first Monday in January., 1953, with proviso that he may be CUB- I missed upon thirty days' notice. Notion by Mr. Lane, seconded by Mr. Mazza.. that Anthony DeBlasio., be appointed Superintendent of the County Garage for the year 1952, covering the period from the first Monday in January., 1952, to the first Monday in January,, 1953, with proviso that he may be dismissed upon thirty days' notice. Motion carried. Motion by Mr. Lane, seconded by Mr. Mazza, that Margaret Babish be appointed Secretary to the Chief Clerk for the year 1952, covering the period from the first Monday in January, 1952, to the first Monday in January,, 1953, with proviso that she may be dismissed upon thirty dayst notice. Motion carried. Motion by Mr. Lane., seconded by Mr. Mazza., that Fbilomena, Prencipe,, be appointed Secretary to County Commissioner John Mazza for the year 1952, covering the period from the first Monday in Januarys 1952, to the first Monday in January., 1953, with proviso that she may be dis- missed upon thirty days' notice.
