Board of Commissioners in regular session, those present being Messrs. Pettit
Motion by Mr. Pettit, seconded by Mr. Ma.sza, that Alex Patterson, voucher Clerk,
be transferred to the Registration Office as a Clerk; this action being effective February 1,
1952.

Board of Commissioners in regular session, those present being Messrs. Pettit
Motion by Mr. Pettit, seconded by Mr. Lane, that all Employees who are candidates
for Public Office must take a leave*-ef-absence, without pay, effective from the day after the
last day to withdraw petitions until after the Primary.
Motion carried.
At this time, Commissioner Mazza entered the meeting.
Motion by Mr. Lane, seconded by Mr. Pettit, that the application to permit the

election of a Democrat County Chairman by the Democrat Electors of the County at the coming
Primary be refused without prejudice, due to the lack of approval of the Pennsylvania Democratic
State Executive Committee of the said application.
Motion unanimously carried.
There being no further business to come before the Board at this time, the meeting
adjourned.
