LANE, JOHN MAZZA, COMMISSIONERS NO. 13 Office of the County Commissioners Washington, Pa., February 25, 1952 Board of County Commissioners and the County Controller met in special session for the purpose of opening bids received on a 1952 Ford Model F-7 two and one-half Ton -Truck.. for the use of the County Road and Bridge Department; those present at the meeting were Com- missioners Pettit, bane, Mazza and County Controller Roule. In accordance with the aforementioned advertisement, the following bids were opened and read: WALLEY MOTOR SALES,I_INC. 728 bean Avenue Charleroi., Pa. In accordance with the advertisement of the County Controller for furnishing and delivering one (1) 1952 FORD TRUCK, Model F-7, two and one-half Ton with dump body and wench, I (or We) propose to furnish and deliver as per specifications one (1) Truck, for the sum of: Bid on Truck $ 5512.45 Less Federal Tax 185.48 Total15-326.87 Less trade-in allowance on 1941 Chevrolet one and one- half C.O.E. Model Dump' Truck 6 445.87 Total Bid $1+881.00 Approximate Delivery Date 30 to 60 days A certified check in the sum of $500.00 is herewith enclosed. The right is reserved to reject any or all bids. Model Dump Truck $1063.51 Total Bid $4500.00 Approximate Delivery Date March 25 1952 A` certified check in the sum of $500,00 is herewith enclosed. The right is reserved to reject any or all bids. Motion by Mr. mane., seconded by Mr. Pettit, that the bid for a 1952 Ford Truck, Model F-7., two and one-half Ton be awarded to BROWN & HUSTED, INC., 41. East Maiden Street, Wash- ington., Pa., for the amount of $1+500.00; this bid being the lowest bid received. Motion carried.
