Board of Commissioners in regular session, those present being Messrs. Pettit,
Motion duly made and seconded that the following Resolution be adopted:
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Commissioners of Washington County that the plans
submitted by the Pennsylvania Department of Highways for the changing of State Highway Route 114 -
Section 2W, in Buffalo Township, Washington County; from Sta. 25gl4 to Station 303�59.09 and from
Sta. 405}90 to Sta. 459�1+0.21, have been examined by the Commissioners and they agree that Wash-
ington County will not assume liability for any property damages resulting from the construction
of the above named highway as contemplated by these plans or any damages arising out of any change
or alteration of drainage resulting from the construction or maintenance of this highway; or any
damages resulting to any property or holdings of any Public Utility Company; nor will the County
assume any damages resulting to any coal or other minerals in and underlying the property affecte�
by this improvement; but that Washington County will contribute the sum of Three Thousand ($3000.(
Dollars toward the payment of property damages.
Motion carried.
There being no further business to come before the Board at this time, the meeting
adjourned.

Washington, Pa., March 19, 1952
Board of County Commissioners in regular session, those present being Messrs.
Pettit, Lane and Mazza.
Motion duly made and seconded that the following Resolution be adopted:
AREAS, The Board of County Commissioners has heretofore recommended the Govern-
ment and Civic Employees Organizing Committee as the itole bargaining agent for all of its employ-
ees in. the Bridge and Roads Department of the County, and
AREAS, The said Union has submitted a contract governing the relations between
the employees of the said Bridge and Roads Department and the County of Washington as represen
by the said Union, and
WHEREAS, The said contract after certain modifications and changes has met with
approval of the Board of Commissioners.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, That the County of Washington approve the Agree-
ment submitted by Local #229 of the Government and Civic Employees Organizing Committee, and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That the Commissioners execute the said Agreement as in-
formed and presented.
Motion carried.
There being no further business to come before the Board at this time, the meeting
addourned.
