Washington, Pa., March 24, 1952
Board of County Commissioners in regular session, those present being Messrs,
Pettit, Lane and Mazza.
Motion by Mr. Pettit, seconded by Mr. Lane, that the Budget for the General Fund
for the County of Washington for the fiscal year 1952 be finally adopted as advised by the County
Commissioners; the said budget having been available for public inspection in the Office of the
Chief Clerk to the County Commissioners from March la., 1952, to this date, in accordance with the
provisions of the Act of Assembly of July 18, 1935, and the rate of taxation upon the valuation
of properties of the County of Washington, in order to tax sufficient revenue to meet required
expenditures for the fiscal year 1952, be fixed at seven (7) mills, which makes the payment of
taxes in the amount of seventy (70) cents upon each $100 of assessed valuation of real estate
and occupation.
Motion carried.
There being no further business to come before the Board at this time, the meeting

Motion duly made and seconded that a refund voucher in the amount of $15.35 paid

on A° ust 1 1951 be made payable to � � , p ya Mary Schell, $65 Addison Street, Washington, Pa., on pro-
perty situated in the City of Washington-8th Ward. This refund being made, due to the fact, that
on July 9, 1951, the same amount of $15.35 was paid for the 1951 County Tax. Therefore, the Taxj
Claim Bureau is authorized to prepare said voucher for the refund of this duplicate payment,
Motion carried, with Mr. Mazza excusing himself from the meeting.

Assessor in Canton Township, filling the vacancy existing.
Motion carried.
Motion by Mr. Lane, seconded by Mr. Pettit, that Jack Flint be appointed Assessor

in Elco Borough, filling the vacancy existing.
Motion carried.
Motion by Mr. Lane, seconded by Mr. Pettit, that James Logan Brownlee be appointed)
Assessor in West Middletown Borough, filling the vacancy existing.
