LANE, JOHN MAZZA, COMMISSIONERS ! (c) Maintain and operate all the works after completion in accordance with regulations prescribed by the Secretary of the Army. AND BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the County of Washington, a municipal corporation of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, hereby assures the Secretary of the Army that it will: (a) Provide without cost to the United States all lands, easements and rights -of -way necessary for the construction of the additions to the project for flood control on Pike Run and its tributary, Gcrby Run, at Granfille, Wash- ington County, Pennsylvania; (b) Hold and save the United States free from damages due to the construction works; and (c) Maintain and operate all the workds after completion in accordance with regulations prescribed by the Secretary of the Army. Motion carried. There being no further business to come before the Board at this time, the meeting adjourned. THE FOREGOING MINUTE READ AND APPROVED: Septemb , 1952. ATTES JAG! L Chief Clerk No. 56 Office of the County Commissioners Washington, Pa., August 29, 1952 Board of County Commissioners in regular session, those present being Messrs. Pettit, Lane and Mazza. Motion by Mr. Lane, seconded by Mr. Mazza, that the Registration Office in the Court House, be opened Thursday Night, September llth, 1952, from 7 P.M., to 10 P.M., Friday Night, September 12th, 1952, from 7 P.M., to 10 P.M., and Saturday Night, September 13th, 1952, from 7 P.M., to 10 P.M., to take registrations and carry on the regular duties. Motion carried. Motion by Mr. Lane, seconded by Mr. Mazza, that the County Controller be author- ized to advertise for bids in connection with the improvement of the Smith Bridge, Ten Mile Creek #39, in Amwell Township, Washington County; said bids to be received as per specifications in the Office of the County Controller, Court House, Washington, Pa., until 11:00 o'clock, A.M., E.D.S.T., and opened immediately thereafter.
