BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS WASHINGTON COUNTY, PENNSYLVANIA
FRANCIS E. PETTIT, W. J. LANE, JOHN MAZZA, COMMISSIONERS
Motion by Mr. Lane, seconded by Mr. Mazza, that the Board for the Assessment and
Revision of Taxes be authorized to prepare vouchers for refund of excess taxes in the total
amount of $5,4.3, overpaid to the County by Mr. Erdely as follows; Lot ,#138 in McMahan Addition
wrongly assessed at $200. to Erdely, this assessment being a duplication with the proper assess-
ment to Wagner, Andrew and Millie, for the years 1950, 1951, 1952. Erdeiyts payments to County,
per Treasurerts records, made August 1, 1950, June 28, 1951, and July 9, 1952. $5.43 refund
computed at 9J Mills on $200. over -assessment for each of 3 years. Assessment records to be
i corrected accordingly and copies of this minute to be furnished Charleroi Borough and School
District for refunds as they may deem proper.

Motion carried.
Motion by Mr. Lane, seconded by Mr. Mazza, that a refund voucher in the amount
of $12.19 paid on July 3, 1952, be made payable to Earl and Agnes Burton, Box 353, Coal Center,
Pa., on property situated in the Borough of Coal Center. This refund being made, due to the
fact, that on June 17, 1952, the same amount of $12.19 was paid for the 1952 County Taxes
(under name of William H. and Zana R, Kennedy). Therefore; the Tax Claim Bureau is authorized
to prepare said voucher for the refund of this duplicate payment.
Motion carried.
There being no further business to come before the Board at this time, the
meeting adjourned.

Board of County Commissioners in regular session, those present being Messrs,
Pettit, Lane and Mazza.
Motion by Mr. Lane, seconded by Mr. Pettit, that the resignation of Alex
Debreczeni, Jr., Purchasing Agent of the Purchasing Department, be accepted; this action being
retroactive to September 16, 1952.
Motion carried.
Motion by Mr. Lane, seconded by Mr. Pettit, that Philip M. Beltz, Clerk in
the Tax Claim Bureau be transferred to the Engineer and Bridge Departments as a Secretary re-
placing John T. Feteko; this action being effective October 1, 1952.
Motion carried.
Motion by Mr. Pettit, seconded by Mr. Lane, that John T, Feteko, Secretary in
the Engineer and Bridge Departments be transferred to the Institution District as the Executive
Director replacing Victor Peternel; this action being effective October 1, 1952.
Motion carried.
Motion by Mr. Lane, seconded by Mr. Pettit, that Raymond Shook be employed
as a Field Assessor in the Tax Assessment Office; this action being effective September 2+6,1952.
