BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS WASHIN13TON COUNTY, PENNSYLVANIA
FRANCIS E. PETTIT, W. J. LANE, JOHN MAZZA, COMMISSIONERS
Motion by Mr. Marie, seconded by Mr. Mazza, that the services of Lulu Henry,
Matron at the Detention Home and Violet French, Assistant Matron at the Detention Home, be
terminated; this action being effective October 16, 1952.
Motion carried.
Motion by Mr. Lane, seconded by Mr. Mazza, that Joseph DiFilippo, Chief Clerk,
be authorized to dispose of any surplus furniture or equipment at the Old Detention Home.
Motion carried.
There being no further business to come before the Board at this time, the
meeting adjourned.

Board of County Commissioners in regular session, those present being Messrs.
Pettit, Lane and Mazza.
Motion by Mr. Lane, seconded by Mr. lkzza, that John Penderville, Deputy Warden
at the County Jail, be transferred to the Juvenile Detention Home as the Custodian; this action
being effective October 16, 1952.
Motion carried.
Motion by Mr. Lane, seconded by Mr. Mazza, that Anna Mae Penderville be appoint►-
ed as the Matron of the Juvenile Detention Home; this action being effective October 16, 1952.
Motion carried.
There being no further business to come before the Board at this time, the
meeting adjourned.

A special meeting vas held on Monday, October 6, 1952 at 11:00 a.m., EST, in
the Office of the County Commissioners for the opening of bids for furnishing and placing of
approximately 4750 square yards of Bituminous Wearing Surface on portions of East Bethlehem
Township Roads #325 and #808 in East Clarksville, Washington County. Those present at the
meeting were Commissioners Pettit, Ilene, Mazza and County Controller Roule.
