LANE, JOHN MAZZA, COMMISSIONERq �'5 rl Motion by Mr. Lane, seconded by Mr. Mazza, that the Board for the Assessment and Revision of Taxes be authorized to prepare vouchers for refund of excess taxes in the total amount of 1.81, overpaid to the County by Laura Lindley, R. D. 1, West Finley, Pennsyl- vania, in East Finley Township due to a miscalculation of the 1952 County Tax on her 3,/10 in- terest. The correct tax was $2.03, but was wrongly computed as $3.84, and paid July 13, 1952, per receipt. Assessment records to be corrected accordingly, and copies of this minute to be furnished East Finley Township Road Board and School District. Motion carried. Motion by Mr. Lane, seconded by Mr. Mazza, that the Board for the Assessment and Revision of Taxes be authorized to prepare vouchers for refund of excess taxes in the total amount of 1.81, overpaid to the County by John W. Ealy, R. D. 1, Dums Station, Pennsylvania, in East Finley Township due to a miscalculation of the 1952 County Tax on his 3,/10 interest. The correct tau was 2.03, but was wrongly computed as $3.81" and paid June 13, 1952, per receipt. Assessment records to be corrected accordingly and copies of this minute to be furnished East Finley Township Road Board and School District. Motion carried. Motion by Mr. Lane, seconded by Mr. Mazza, that the Board for the Assessment and Revision of Taxes be authorized to prepare vouchers for a refund total of $5.23, (94.75 face, plus .1+8 penalty) paid September 5, 1952, per receipt #223 by Richard Smith, as a dupli- cate assessment in Hopewell. Township. Assessment records to be corrected accordingly, and copies of this minute to be furnished Hopewell Township Road Board and School District. Motion carried. There being no further business to come before the Board at this time, the meeting adjourned. Pettit, Lane and Mazza. Motion by Mr. Lane, seconded by Mr. Mazza, that the expense statement ending October 26th, as submitted by District Attorney Zelt, for George Abd, attending the F.B.S. School in Washington, D. C., in the amount of $210.00 be approved. Motion carried. Motion by Mr. Lane, seconded by Mr. Mazza, that a refund voucher in the amount of $7.22 paid on July 21, 1952, be made payable to Charles and Rose Rodgers, Box 237, Cecil, Pa., on property situated in the Township of Cecil. LANE, JOHN MAZZA, COMMISSIONERS fact, that on July 30, 1952, the same amount of $7.22 was paid for the 1952 County Tax by Charles and Rose Rodgers % First Federal Savings and Loan Asstn., Waynesburg, Pa. Therefore, the Tax Claim Bureau is authorized to prepare said voucher for the refund of.this duplicate payment. Motion carried. Motion by Mr. Lane, sconded by Mr. Mazza, that the following Resolution be adopted: RES0LUT1©N Be it resolved by the County Commissioners of Washington County that the plans submitted by the Pennsylvania Department of Highways for the changing of State Highway Route 62063; Section 1; from Station 0 � 64.90 to Station 67 / 79.00, in Nottingham Township have been examined by the Commissioners and they agree that Washington County will not assume liability for any property damages resulting from the construction of the above named highway as contemplated by these plans or any damages arising out of any changes or alteration of drain- age resulting from the construction or maintenance of this highway or of any damages resulting to any property or holdings of any Public Utility Company; nor will the County assume any damages resulting to any coal or other minerals in and underlying the property affected by this improve- ment, but that Washington County will contribute the sum of seven hundred and fifty dollars (750.00), towards the payment of property damages on this Route. Motion by Mr. Lane, seconded by Mr. Mazza, that the following Polling Places be designated as follows; petition for said changes having been duly presented to the Board prior to ten days before the Election and notices of the contemplated change posted as required by law: Elco Borough From: School Building To: Borough Building Rental: $5.00 - Janitor Canonsburg 1st Ward 3Pd District From: 521 Blaine Ave., Building of Mike Phakis To: Greenside U.P. Chapel, Euclid Avenu� Rental: $20.00 Motion carried. Motion by Mr. Lane, seconded by Mr. Mazza, that Minute Nos. 58, 59, 59 A, 60a 61, 62, 63, 641 65, 66, 66-A, 67 67 A, 68, 69 and 70 were read and approved. Motion carried.
