BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS WASHINGTON COUNTY, PENNSYLVANIA
FRANCIs E. PETTtT, W. J. LANE, JOHN MAZZA, COMMISSIONERS
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the County Controller be, and he is hereby
authorized to make all required payments into the Contribution Fund established by Section 7 of
said enabling Act and to establish such system of payroll deductions from salaries of officers
and employes as may be necessary to their coverage under said Old Age and Survivors Insurance
System, and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Board of County Commissioners of Washington
County hereby appropriate from the proper Rand or funds of the said County the amounts necessary
to pay into the Contribution Funds as provided in Section 4 of the enabling Act and in accordance
with the Plans and Agreement, and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the proper officials of the County of Washington
do all things in accordance with the provisions contained in the Plan and Agreement necessary
to the continued implementation of said Old Age and Survivors Insurance System, and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED THAT THE COUNTY OF WASHINGTON become a participant
in the Social Security System, and that such participation shall commence as of January 1. 1951,,

Board of County Commissioners in regular session, those present being Messrs.
Pettit, Lane and Mazza.
Motion by Mr. Lane, seconded by Mr. Mazza, that Thomas W. Weimer be appoint-
ed as an assistant painter; this action being'retroactive to December 15, 1952.
Motion carried.
Motion by Mr. Lane, seconded by Mr. Mazza, that Fred Fisher be appointed as
a temporary draftsmen in the Tax Assessment Office; this action being retroactive to December
22, 1952.
Motion carried.
