Motion by Mr. Lane,, seconded by Mr. Mazza., that Roger Gaillard be appointed
as a temporary linesmen in the Tax Assessment Office; this action being retroactive to December
22, 1952,
Motion carried.
Motion by Mr. Lane, seconded by Mr. Mazza., that the County Controller be
authorized to approve the following Delinquent Tax Exonerations made by the County Commissioners
in the various Districts of Washington County for the year 1951:
GENERAL FUND
Real Estate 1.40
Occupation 31..232.99
Motion carried,
There being no further business to come before the Board at this time, the
meeting adjourned.

Board of County Commissioners in regular session, those present being Messrs.
Pettit., Lane and Mazza.
The organization of the Board of County 0m0nissioners., effected on the first
Monday of January., 1952, continued in accordance with the provisions of the Act of Assembly
of 1929, (County Code)., to -wit: Francis E. Pettit., Chairman of the Board,, W. J. Lane., Secretarj
and the third member of the Board being John Mazza.
First in the order of business was the confirmation of the appointment of
Joseph DiFilippo., Chief Clerk to the County Commissioners; David H. Weiner, County Solicitor;
and Fred Caruso., Sealer of Weights and Measures for the year 1953, each of the foregoing ap-
pointments having been made the first Monday in Januaryo 1952,for a four-year period.
Motion by Mr. Lune, seconded by Mr. Mazza, that William H. Robinson,, be
appointed as Assistant Solicitor in the Tax Claim Bureau.
Motion carried.
Motion by Mr. Lane, seconded by Mr. Mazza., that H. Russell Stahlmn,, be
appointed as Assistant Solicitor in the Tax Claim Bureau.
Motion carried.
Motion by Mr. Lane,, seconded by Mr. Mazza, that the following named persons
be employed in the Office of the County Commissioners in the respective capacities set forth
for the year 1953, effective January 5, 1953:
Margaret Pasula, Secretary
Charmaine Zoretic, Voucher Clerk
Leo L. Considine,, Purchasing Agent
Frances Malinkyv Secretary,
