Board of County Commissioners in regular session, those present being Messrs.
Motion by Mr. Lane, seconded by Mr. Pettit, that Alfreda Lamp, be appointed as
a'Clerk in the Tax Claim Bureau; this action being effective February 1, 1953.
Motion carried.
There being no further business to come before the Board at this time, the
meeting adjourned.

seconded by Mr. Pettit, that the resignation of Anthony L.
Marino, Chief Assessor
in the Office
of Board For Assessment And Revision of Taxes, be accepted
and filed.

by Mr. Lane,
seconded by Mr. Pettit, that the following Resolution be
adopted.
i
RESOLUTION
Be it resolved by the County Commissioners of Washington County that the plans
submitted by the Pennsylvania Department of Highways for the changing of State Highway Route
325, Section 1W; from Station 0+00 Ah. to Station 60+68.18 and from Station 376*00 to Station I
426+50 in Amwell Township; have been examined by the Commissioners and they agree that Washington;
County will not assume liability for any property damages resulting from the changing of the above
named highway as contemplated by these plans or any damages arising out of any changes or altera-
tion of drainage resulting from the construction or maintenance of this highway or of any damagesi,
resulting to any property or of any damages resulting to any property or holdings of arty public ?
Utility Company; nor will the County assume any damages resulting to any coal or other minerals �
in and underlying the property affected by this improvement; but that Washington County will
contribute the sum of three ($3,000) dollars toward the payment of property damages on this
Route. a
