Gentlemen:
In response to the advertisement of the County Controller for furnishing and
delivering 21 Registers and Orphans Court Estate Index Books and 5 Registers and Orphans Court
Proceedings Index Books, we wish,to submit the following prices for your consideration:
For the price of $1785,00, we will furnish 21 Registers and Orphans Court Estate
Index Books. For the price of $475,00, we will furnish 5 Registers and Orphans Court Proceedings
Index Books. The Total price for furnishing 21 Registers and Orphans you rt Estate Index Books
and Registers and Orphans Court Proceedings Index Books will be $2 260.00.

The workmanship and materials of the abovementioned Index Books; as well as
the services of a person experienced in indexing Estates and Proceedings, to install the pro-
posed new index books; and the furnishing of printed index slips; will be in strict compliance
with the detailed specifications attached hereto.
Enclosed is our certified check, payable to the County Treasurer of Washington
County, in the amount of $300,00.

lowest bid received that it be accepted.

A special meeting was held on Monday, March 16, 1953 at 11:00 a.m., EST, in
the Office of the County Commissioners for the purpose of opening bids for furnishing and
delivering 50 gross U. S. Flags to the Washington County Court House, Washington, Pennsylvania.
Those present at the meeting were Commissioners Pettit, Mazza and County Controller Roule.
In accordance with the aforemention advertisement, the following bids were
opened and read.

In accordance with the advertisement of the County Controller for furnishing
and delivering fifty (50) gross U. S. Flags, I (or We) propose to furnish and deliver as
follows:
50 gross U. S. Flags, must be 12" x 18" with fast colors,
construction of cloth must be 64" x 60", hemmed on four (4) sides,
flags to pe mounted on 30" x 3/8" white vdod staff, with 2-3/4" gild
spear head; must be delivered by May 12, 1953.

employed as hourly draftsmen in the Tax Assessment Office; this action retroactive to the
dates opposite the employees names. -
