Board of County Commissioners in regular session, those present being Messrs.
Pettit, Vane and Mazza.
Motion duly made and seconded, pertaining to the Sewage Project in East Bethlehem
Township, the County of Washington will match contributing funds to help finance installation
of a storm sewer at Williamstown Plan of Clarksville, East Bethlehem Township, Washington County,
Pennsylvania. I
Motion carried unanimously. I

Motion by Mr. Lane, seconded by Mr. Mazza, that a resolution on the expansion on
Chartiers Greek be adopted as follows:

Water and Power Resources Board:
In compliance with the provisions of an Act of the General Assembly of the
Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, entitled, "An act providing for the regulation of dams, or other
structures of obstructions, as difined herein, in, along, across or projecting into all streams
and bodies of water wholly or partly within, or forming part of the boundary of, this Common- i
wealth; vested certain powers and duties in the Water Supply Commission of Pennsylvania, for
this purpose; and providing penalties for the violation of the provisions hereof," approved the j
25th day of June, A. D. 1913, and "The Administrative Code" which empowers the Water and Power I
Resources Board to exercise certain powers and perform certain duties by law vested in and im-
posed upon the Water Supply Commission of Pennsylvania, THE COMMISSIONERS OF WASHINGTON COUNY, j
PA., hereby makes application for the consent or permit of the Water and Power Resources Board I
to make a change in, the Channel, along, Chartiers Creek and the relocating of the mouth of {
Catfish Creek, at a point beginning 200 feet more or less, northwest of Hayes Avenue Highway I
Bridge, and extending downstream to and along Chartiers Creek in Canton Township and in the
City of Washington, Washington County, Pa.

Note: Spoil Materials resulting from proposed channel Improvement to be used in 4
filling old channel areas and excess Materials to be spread ovev4 over the banks of stream so I
as to provide drainage toward the new channel, for the purpose of Improving the width, align-
went, and grade of the stream thereby facilitating run-off of flood waters and affording greater
protection from flood damage to an industrial area in the immediate vicinity, in accordance with
the complete maps, plans, profiles, and specifications filed with this application and made a
part hereof.
This application, unless made by Federal, State, County, or municipal agency,
must be accompained by two certified checks or money orders, payable to the Commonwealth of
Pennsylvania, one for Twenty Dollars ($20.00) to cover fillhg fee ($5.00) and preliminary in-
vestigation costs ($15.00), and one for Ten Dollars ($10.06) to cover final inspection of the
work. Final inspection fee of $10.00 will be returned to applicant if permit is not granted.

the order to make up the Controller's Reports for the year 1952 for the sum of $310.00, number
of books to be 500, being that this was the lowest estimate received. All books must bear a i
