LANE, JOHN MAZZA, COMMISSIONERS Motion carried unanimously. The following Resolution of the Board of County Commissioners of the County of Washington, State of Pennsylvania, relative to the issue by the said County of a rote for One Hundred Thousand ($100,000.00) Dollars as a temporary loan, was presented, duly seconded and adopted by said Board, to-wits "WHEREAS, It has become necessary for said B©a rd to borrow the sum of One Hundred Thousand ($1001,000.00) Dollars for the purpose of meeting current expenses for the year 1953, and to be payable out of taxes and other current revenues which have been assessed and are to be levied and collected by the County during the year 1953; now, therefore, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of the said County of Wash- ington, that for the purpose of providing funds for the payment of current expenses of the County, the proper officials of the said County are hereby authorized and directed to negotiate a temporary loan on such terms as may be agreed upon by them, payable out of taxes which are to be levied and collected during the year 19539 and so much of said taxes as may be necessary to repay said loan, with interest, is hereby set aside and designated for that purpose, and issue a note therefor, payable August 7, 19539 with interest from date of said note at the rate of one (1) per cent, per anrum, free of all taxes levied by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, which said taxes the County of Washington assumew and agrees to pay, said note to be negotiated and issued as follows: WASHINGTON' UNION TRUST COMPAW$ WASHINGTON$ PA... .......................... ........$100,000000" Motion carried unanimouslye There being no further business to come before the Board at this time, the meeting adjourned. Pettit and Lane. Motion duly made and seconded that the County Commissioners file a Joinder along with the Complaint No. 15893 filed by the Borough of Dunlevy with the Pennsylvania Public Utility Commission, with regards to installing safety devices at the railroad crossing in the Borough of Dunlevy, Washington County. Motion carried unanimously. Motion duly made and seconded that Mary F. Tribett, be appointed as a Cleaning Woman; this action being effective April 6, 1953• Motion carried unanimously.
