The above bids were tabled until a quorum of the Board will be present.
There being no further business to come before the Board at this time, the meet-
ing adjourned.

Board of County Commissioners in regular session, those present being Messrs.
Pettit and Mazza.
Motion duly made and pecondpid that the following Resolution be adopted:
RESOLUTION
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Commissioners of Washington County that the plans
submitted by the Pennsylvania Department of Highways for the changing of State Highway Route
62175; Section S-2; from Aation 171 + 25 to Station 228 + 50; in Carroll Township , Washington
County; have been examiy(ed by the Commissioners and they agree that Washington County will not
assume liability for arty property damages resulting from the changing of the abbve named high-
way as contemplated by these plans or any damages arising out of any changes or alteration of
drainage resulting from the construction or maintenance of this highiray or ang damages resulting
to any property of holdings of any Public Utility Company; nor will the County assume any damages
resulting to azW coal or other minerals in and underlying the property affected by this improve-
ment; but that Washington County will contribute the sum of Twenty-eight hundred ($2800.00)
dollars toward the payment of property damages on this road.

County, have been examined by the Commissioners and they agree that Washington County will not
assume liability for any property damages resulting from the changing of the above named high-
way as contemplated by these plans or any damages arising out of any changes or alteration of
drainage resulting from the construction or maintenance of this highway or arty damages resulting
to any property of holdings of any Public Utility Company; nor will the County assume any damages
resulting to any coal or other minerals in and underlying the property affected by this Improve-
ment; but that Washington County will contribute the sum of One thousand ($1000.00) dollars
toward the payment of property damages on this road.

for printing and delivering to the Office of the County Commissioners the necessary ballots for
the conduct of the General Election to be held Tuesday.. November 3, 1953s having examined the
attached specifications and understanding the same, I (or We) propose to furnish said ballots
in accordance therewith at the prices set forth. 1 ,
Approximately 100,000 regular white official ballots

Approximately 20,000 pink official specimen ballots for election districts:
