Motion by Mr. Lane, seconded by Mr. Mazza, that the following Gard Units be granted an appropriation of $200.00 for the year 1953. Regimental Headquarters, Washington, Pa. Company H, 110th Inf., Washington, Pa. Company A, 110th.Inf., Monongahela, Pa. Heavy Mortar Company, Canonsburg, Pa. Motion carried. There being no further business to come before the Board at this time, the meeting adjourned. �� .+r: r Nit • �� u �•�+�� August ATTEST N0. 135 Office of the County Commissioners Washington, Pa., July 31, 1953 Board of County Commissioners and Deputy Controller met in special session for the purpose of opening bids for one (1) used jeep to be delivered to the County Court House and bids for one (1) sound movie projector to be delivered to the County Court House. Those present at the meeting were Commissioners Pettit, Mazza and Deputy tontroller Dentel. In accordance with the aforementioned advertisement, the following bid was T0: Commissioners of Washington County Washington, Pennsylvania July 27, 1953 In accordance with the advertisement of the County Controller, inviting proposals for furnishing and delivering one (1) used Jeep, to the Washington County Court House, Washing- ton, Pa., I (or We) propose to furnish and deliver said Jeep in accordance with attached speci- fications: $900.00 Amount of Bid. A certified check in the amount of $100.00 is herewith enclosed. Gino Santoni R. D. 2 Canonsburg, Pa. This was the only and lowest bid received. Motion by Mr. Pettit, seconded by Mr. Mazza, that the bid be tabled until an inspection could be made by the County's Chief Mechanic, John Andy. Motion carried.
