Board of County Commissioners in regular session, those present being Messrs.
Pettit, Lane and Mazza.
Motion by Mr. Lane, seconded by Mr. Pettit, that J. Winfield Reed and Llyod
Carson, be appointed as special assessors to re -assess Carroll Township in the Tax Assessment
Office; this action effective
June
18, 1953•
Rate to be
fixed at $18.00 per day which includes
expenses. One-third of cost
to be
borne by
each of the
three (3) taxing bodies involved.
Motion carried.
Motion by Mr. Lane, seconded by Mr. Mazza, that the following Field Registration
days be approved, both to be half days.
HOURS: 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
August 11, Ellsworth - Borough Building
21, Atlasburg - Atlasburg School
Note: Committee members are not permitted to serge as Field Registrars.
Motion carried.
There being.no further business to come before the Board at this time, the
meeting adjourned.

Motion duly made and seconded that the CountyController be authorized to adver-
tise for bids for the furnishing and delivery of Tax Assessment Supplies for the year 1954, said
bids to be received in the office of the County Controller, Court House, Washington,,_Pa.', until
11:00 a.m., D.S.T., Monday, August 17, 1953., and opened immediately thereafter.
Motion carried.
There being no further business to come before the Board at this time, the
meeting adjourned._
