LANE, JOHN MAZZA, COMMISSIONERS situate in Fallowfield Township, described as 2 story frame house, Lot 17 Woodward Plan. This refund being made, due to the fact, that on August 1, 1953, the amount of $11.97 was paid and on August 25, 1953 the amount of $12.60 was paid, thus creating a duplicate payment, on the 1953 County Tax. Therefore, the Tax Claim Bureau is authorized to prepare the said voucher for the refund of this duplicate payment. Motion carried. Motion by Mr. Lane, seconded by Mr. Mazza, that the Registration Office remain open on Friday, September 25, 1953 from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m- and in the evening from 7:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m., Saturday.. September 26, 1953 from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon; Monday, -September 28, 1953 from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. and in the evening from 7:00 p.m- to 10:00 p-m- Motion carried. Motion by Mr. Lane, seconded by Mr. Mazza, that the following Field Registration Day be approved, being a half day. HOURS: 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. September 24.. Fallowfied - Township Building Motion carried. There being no further business to come before the Board at this time, the meeting adjourned. THE FOREGOING MINUTE READ AND APPROVED: ' Octobe 195 AT Chief Clerk No - 150 Office of the County Commissioners Washington, Pa., September 23, 1953 Board of County Commissioners in regular session, those present being Messrs. Pettit, Lane and Mazza. Motion duly made and seconded, that a refund voucher in the amount of $5.99, be made payable to Chriss Thomas, 209 E. Pitt Street, Canonsburg, Pa., on property situate in Canonsburg lst Ward, described as 4 room Prame house unfinished, Lot 8 W W Gladden Plan. This refund being made, due to the fact, that on July 31, 19531 the amount of $5.99 was paid by Mr. Thomas and again on August 1, 1953, the Veterans Administration paid the same amount of $5.99, covering the 1953 County Tax. Inasmuch as the Veterans Administration has already charged this amount to the account of Chriss Thomas, it is requested that the duplicate payment be refunded to Chriss Thomas. Therefore, the Tax Claim Bureau is authorized to prepare the said voucher for the refund of this duplicate payment. Motion carried. Motion duly made and seconded, that a refund voucher in the amount of $5.99, be made payable to John & Stella Ftaklas, 502 Chartiers Avenue, Canonsburg, Pa-, on property situate in Canonsburg lst Ward, described as Lots 208 -210 Blk 9, Chartiers Street.
