Bevec, Diana L. Irey and J. Bracken Burns, Sr.; President Judge David Gilmore and Controller Michael Namie. Also being present: Richard DiSalle, Solicitor; Cathi Kresh, Administrator/Chief Clerk; Linda Belcher, Administrative Assistant; Barbara Gibbs, Clerk of Courts; Richard Zimmerman, Jury Commissioner; Michelle Miller Kotula and Carrie Taylor, Human Resources; Linda Metz, Observer -Reporter; and Jim Jefferson, WJPA. Chairman Bevec called the meeting to order at approximately 11:30 a.m. and noted that an Executive Session was held on September 3, and September 17, 2003 to discuss personnel matters. Chairman Bevec entertained a motion to approve Minute No. 3-S-03 dated June 19, 2003. Moved by Mr. Burns, seconded by Mr. Vankirk, approving Minute No. 3-S-03 as written. Roll call vote taken: Mr. Namie — Yes; Mr. Burns — Yes; Mrs. Irey — Yes; Mr. Bevec — Yes. Motion carried unanimously. PUBLIC COMMENTS None RATIFICATION OF MEMORANDUMS OF UNDERSTANDING COURTS RECORDS MANAGEMENT Records Management Coordinator, change the funding source of the position from the Records Management Department to Judge Gladden's Office, eff. 7/1/03 until 12/31/03. Eff. 1/1/04 funding source will be changed to the Records Management Department. Moved by Judge Gilmore, seconded by Mr. Burns, approving the foregoing change in funding sources for the Records Management Department. Roll call vote taken: Judge Gilmore — Yes; Mr. Namie — Yes; Mr. Burns — Yes; Mrs. Irey — Yes; Mr. Bevec - Yes. Motion carried unanimously. DISTRICT ATTORNEY It was noted Mr. Pettit could not attend the meeting. Assistant Administrator (Crime Victim/Witness Program), rate 27,284.40 to Victim Advocate, rate 18,500.00, abolish the position of FT Asst. Adm. (Crime Victim/Witness Program) and create a FT Victim Advocate position, eff. 7/1/03. Moved by Mr. Burns, seconded by Mrs. Irey, abolishing the full time position as per above. VETERANS AFFAIRS Gary Mucho, Director of Vet Affairs, rate 24,720.02, increase to 30,000.00, provide with an increase in salary due to increased job responsibilities, eff. 7/17/03 HUMAN SERVICES Susan Roule, Information and Referral Specialist I, rate 20,433.98, abolish position, eff. 8/25/03 MH/MR Diana Adams, Fiscal Operations Officer I, change the status of the position from non-exempt to exempt, eff. 8/20/03 PARKS Thomas Gazica, PT employee, rate 6.00/hour, extend employment thru 9/30/03 Richard McBurnie, Summer employee, rate 5.75/hour, extend summer employment thru 10/10/03 Moved by Mr. Burns, seconded by Mrs. Irey, approving the foregoing ratification of memorandums of understandings. PURCHASING Amanda Elyanoff, rate 24,544.69 to 26,544.69, increase in annual salary, eff. 9/18/03 INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY Don Cortese, rate 35,000.16 to 43,000.00, combine the identified roles of Network Administrator, Identified HIPAA Security Official and Asst. Dir of Information Technology into a single function (job reappointed and new range reflected), eff. 9/18/03 Debbie Rutan, rate 37,142.14, change title to Application Manager, Application Trustee due to the inclusion of HIPAA related duties (no change in salary), eff. 9/18/03 Terry Bodes, rate 28,138.01, change title to Application Trustee, Help Desk Manager due to the inclusion of HIPAA related duties(no change in salary), eff. 9/18/03 Moved by Mr. Burns, seconded by Mrs. Irey, approving the foregoing personnel adjustments.
