Bracken Burns, Sr. and Diana L. Irey; and Controller Michael Namie. Also being present: Chris Weller, Court Administrator; Lyn DeHaven, Solicitor; Mary E. Helicke, Chief Clerk; Linda Belcher, Administrative Assistant; Michelle Miller Kotula and Carrie Taylor, Human Resources; and Debbie Bardella, Recorder of Deeds. Co -Chairman Burns called the meeting to order at approximately 11:00 a.m. Co -Chairman Burns entertained a motion to approve Minute Nos. 5-S-03 dated December 18, 2003 and 1-S-04 dated January 5, 2004. Moved by Mrs. Irey, seconded by Mr. Namie, approving Minute Nos. 5-S-03 and 1-S-04 as written. Roll call vote taken: Mr. Namie — Yes; Mrs. Irey — Yes; Mr. Maggi — Yes; Mr. Burns — Yes. Motion carried unanimously. PUBLIC COMMENTS None RATIFICATION OF MEMORANDUMS OF UNDERSTANDING COURTS Chris Weller was present to approve items pertaining to the Courts for President Judge Gilmore, who could not attend the meeting due to trial term. ADULT PROBATION Clerk Typist II, rate 11.955/hour, create the per diem position, eff. 1/26/04 until S. Keller returns to work from a LOA. The position will work three days per week or six days per pay period Moved by Mrs. Irey, seconded by Mr. Burns, approving the foregoing Memorandum of Understanding. SALARY BOARD MINUTE BOOK WASHINGTON COUNTY, PENNSYLVANIA DOMESTIC RELATIONS Intake Superv., abolish FT position, eff.1/29/04 Intake Coordinator, rate 25,800.00, create FT position, eff. 1/29/04 Sue Sedlitsky, Fiscal Operations Mgr., rate 37,096.48 to 39,096.48, create position of Interim Domestic Relations Deputy due to the medical loa of M. Ward. S. Sedlitsky will be filling the position, eff. 3/22/04. The add'l 2,000 will be funded at a rate of 66% by the Bureau of Child Support Enforcement and 33% by Washington County. SALARY INCREASE Moved by Mr. Burns, seconded by Mr. Namie, to grant a 3%across the board increase. Salaried employees hired during 2003 are eligible to receive a 3% across the board increase on their anniversary date. Roll call vote taken: Mr. Namie — Yes; Mrs. Irey — No; Mr. Maggi - Yes; Mr. Burns — Yes. 7►Ar_..-- MINUTE BOOK SALARY BOARD WASHINGTON COUNTY, PENNSYLVANIA PURCHASING Inventory Control Buyer, rate 12.00/hour, create the temp. position, eff. 2/20/04 (there is $3,000 available in the i budget). This temp. position will be for the time period H. Dames is on paid maternity leave. Once H. Dames is on unpaid leave, the temp. position will be abolished.
