Washington, Pa., November 6, 2008
The Washington County Salary Board met in the Public Meeting Room of the Courthouse Sqm Ye Office
Building, Washington, Pennsylvania, with the following members being present: Commissioners Larry Maggi, Bracken
Burns and Diana L. Irey; Controller Michael Namie. Also being present: Lynn DeHaven, Solicitor; Scott Fergus, ,
Director of Administration; Mary Helicke, Chief Clerk; Linda Belcher, Administrative Assistant; Carrie Taylor, Human
Resources; and Barbara Miller, Observer -Reporter.
Chairman Maggi called the meeting to order at approximately 11:05 a.m.
Chairman Maggi entertained a motion to approve Minute No. 10-S-08 dated October 2, 2008.
Moved by Mr. Burns, seconded by Ms. Irey, approving Minute No.10-S-08 as written.
Roll call vote taken:
Ms. Irey — Yes; Mr. Burns — Yes;
Mr. Maggi — Yes; Mr. Namie — Yes.
Motion carried unanimously.

CDL Van Driver, abolish one vacant FT position, eff.10/7/08
Van Driver, Grade 1, 90%,13.136/hour, create one FT position, eff. 10/7/08
Moved by Mr. Burns, seconded by Ms. Irey, approving the foregoing personnel items.

SALARY BOARD WASHINGTON COUNTY, PENNSYLVANIA
Chairman Maggi stated for the record items noted during 2008 were incorporated into the Salary Book. It is
the consensus of the Salary Board that any procedural errors in the 2008 salary schedule book may be corrected
administratively by Human Resources.
There being no further business, Chairman Maggi declared the meeting recessed at approximately 10:40a.m.
