Motion carried unanimously. 182 MINUTE BOOK SALARY BOARD WASHINGTON COUNTY, PENNSYL_VANIA 4194 - District Attorney Moved by Mr. Pettit, seconded by Mr. Bassi, to CREATE a contracted position of part-time Assistant District Attorney from now until the end of this calendar year for which the position will be filled by Attorney John DiSalle who is currently a full-time Assistant District Attorney (who will resign from the full- time position) at an annual salary of $10,000 to be pro -rated accordingly; the salary will be paid directly from the District Attorney's Drug Fund and the work will consist of processing a backlog of drug forfeitures. Remarks: It was noted that District Attorney Pettit will provide to the Salary Board periodic reports that reflect the work hours of Attorney DiSalle and the program's projected revenues. Commissioner Ford commented that before he could support this action, he would like to be provided with a track record over the last three years of the dollar amount that the drug forefeitures has produced. Controller Belcastro suggested that Mr. Pettit include in this track record a dollar amount representing monies not collected because of the backlog of forfeitures. Roll call vote taken: Mr. Pettit - Yes; Mr. Belcastro - Yes; Mr. Ford - No; Mr. Bassi - Yes; Mr. Petrosky - Yes. Motion carried.
