Bracken Burns, Sr.; Diana L. Irey and Scott H. Fergus; Controller Paul Belcastro; President Judge Thomas Gladden. Also being present: Sheriff Larry Maggi; Barbara Gibbs, Clerk of Courts; Chris Brady, Court Administrator; Bill McGowen, Director of Adminsitration; Michelle Miller, Chief Clerk; Solicitor Jim McCune; Linda Belcher, Secretary; Jill Devine, Assistant Solicitor; Richard Cibella, Director of Human Resources; Janice Urban, Assistant Director of Human Resources; Roger Metcalfe, Budget Director; Joe Smydo, Observer -Reporter; Jim Jefferson, WJPA; and Kathy Thomas, Valley Independent. Chairman Burns announced that an Executive Session of the Salary Board was held on May 26, 1999 to discuss personnel matters. Chairman Burns entertained a motion to approve Minute No. 1-S-99 dated January 4, 1999. Moved by Mr. Fergus, seconded by Mr. Belcastro, to approve Minute No. 1-S-99 as written. Roll call vote taken: Mr. Belcastro - Yes; Mr. Fergus - Yes; Mrs. Irey - Abstain; Mr. Burns -Yes. Motion carried. Moved by Mrs. Irey, seconded by Mr. Fergus, that the wages listed on the respective departmental salary schedule reflect the negotiated wage increase for Union and Non -Union hourly employees as negotiated with the Service Employees International Union (SEIU), Local 585. Roll call vote taken: Mr. Belcastro - Yes; Mr. Fergus - Yes; Mrs.Irey; Mr. Burns - Yes. Motion carried unanimously. Moved by Mr. Belcastro, seconded by Mr. Fergus, in accordance with an arbitration award for Teamsters Local 205 dated April 27, 1999, hourly wages have been established for a three year period, effective Janaury 1, 1999 through December 31, 2001 Roll call vote taken: Mr. Belcastro - Yes; Mr. Fergus - Yes; Mrs. Irey - Yes; Mr. Burns - Yes. This is figured at Ms. Accetta's biweekly rate of $1755.81 ($25.083 hourly) for a total of $1,881.23.
