Absent being: Commissioner Mascara. Also being present: Chief ;Clerk Dallatore; Sheriff Fazzoni; Solicitor Bassi; Margaret Pennline, Personnel !Director; Janice Urban, Office Manager, Personnel Office; Linda Hands, Clerk - Steno II; Jon Stevens, Observer -Reporter; and Pete Skirchak, Herald Standard. 4197-297 - SHERIFF Vice -Chairman Petrosky explained that at the Reorganization Meeting 1held on January 3, 1989, there had been an administrative error on the salary ,of Shirley Kelley, Real Estate Deputy, and that the Board voted on the wrong isalary (778.02 bi-weekly; 20,228.58 annual equivalent). Therefore, one of the !purposes of today's meeting was to correct that administrative error. i I Moved by Sheriff Fazzoni, seconded by Mr. Paluso, that the I administrative error regarding Shirley Kelley's salary be corrected and her proper salary be paid for the year 1989 as stated on the rate of $736.15 bi- weekly, effective January 1, 1989. Roll call vote taken: Mr. Fazzoni - Yes; Ms. Beharry - No; Mr. Paluso - Yes; Mr. Petrosky - Yes. Motion carried. NOTE: The annual equivalent of Shirley Kelley's corrected salary is $19,140.00. 4136-136 - TAX ASSESSMENT Moved by Mr. Paluso, seconded by Ms. Beharry, approving the following payments: Kenneth Blahey, Assessor, California - $52.50 Joseph E. Kencec, Assessor, Hickory - $84.88 Martha E. Sarish, Assessor, Burgettstown - $46.38 Roll call vote taken: Ms. Beharry - Yes; Mr. Paluso - Yes; Mr. Petrosky - Yes. APPROVAL OF MINUTES Vice -Chairman Petrosky noted that the following meeting minutes would be held in abeyance: Minute No. 10-S-88 dated November 3, 1988 Minute No. 11-S-88 dated December 1, 1988 Minute No. 1-S-89 dated January 3, 1989 STATEMENT ON ADMINISTRATIVE ERRORS The Board members concurred that if there are any administrative discrepancies (i.e., incorrect dates or figures, misspelling of names, omissions or any other blatant errors) discovered on agendas or meeting minutes, that they can be handled administratively. However, any substantive errors should be brought before the Salary Board.
