COMMISSIONERS Minute No. 1-S-85 Office of the County Commissioners Washington, Pa., January 7, 1985 The Washington County Salary Board met in session in the Public Meeting Room of the Courthouse Square Office Building, Washington, Pennsylvania, at approximately 10:00 a.m. on Monday, January 7, 1985, for the purpose of reorgani- zation, with the following members being present: Commissioners Petrosky and Paluso and Deputy Controller Metcalfe. Absent being: Commissioner Mascara who was of town. Also being present: Chief Clerk Dallatore; Solicitor Bassi; Judi Lomago, Executive Secretary; Linda Hands, Clerk -Steno II; Jon Stevens, Observer -Reporter; and Natalie Moore, The Herald -Standard. Vice -Chairman Petrosky entertained a motion to approve Minute No. 7-S dated November 1, 1984, each member having received a copy. Moved by Mr. Paluso, seconded by Mr. Petrosky, that Minute No. 7-S dated November 1, 1984, be approved as written. Roll call vote taken: Mr. Metcalfe - Yes; Mr. Paluso - Yes; Mr. Petrosky - Yes. Motion carried unanimously. Vice -Chairman Petrosky stated that in view of the fact that a new union contract has not been negotiated, he entertained a motion to retain all County employees at their current classifications, hourly rates, bi-weekly rates, salaries and/or annual equivalents pending formal reorganization by the Salary Board at a subsequent meeting. Moved by Mr. Paluso, seconded by Mr. Metcalfe, that the meeting recess and be re -convened at the call of the Chair. Roll call vote taken: Mr. Metcalfe - Yes; Mr. Paluso - Yes; Mr. Petrosky - Yes.
