Elected Officials present were: Judge Gladden; John Yoney, Treasurer; Bob Franks, Prothonotary; Farrell Jackson, CoroneK; Barbara Gibbs, Clerk of Courts; John Pettit, District Attorney; Kathleen Flynn Reda, Register of Wills; and Olga Woodward, Recorder of Deeds. Others present included: Ferdal Littleton, Chief Deputy Sheriff; Mel Bassi, Solicitor; Chief Clerk Dallatore; Lou Lignelli, Director of Administration; Mary J. Approval of Minutes Chairman Mascara asked if there were any corrections, additions or omis- sions to Minute No. 12-S-86 dated November 20, 1986, each member having received a copy. Moved by Mr. Petrosky, seconded by Mr. Paluso, that Minute No. 12-S-86 dated November 20, 1986, be approved as written. Roll call vote taken: Miss Beharry - Abstained; Mr. Paluso - Yes; Mr. Petrosky - Yes; Mr. Mascara - Yes. Motion carried. Chairman Mascara noted that Minute No. 13-S-86 dated December 29, 1986, would be held in abeyance. COURTS Moved by Judge Gladden, seconded by Mr. Petrosky, that all the current Judicial Secretaries' salaries be raised to $15,963.74 plus any increases grantee for 1987. Remarks: Judge Gladden noted that a two-step system would be created, allowing for a one-year probationary/entrance level salary which would be raisec to the then current level automatically after one year of service. Some discussion followed between Miss Beharry and Judge Gladden. Roll call vote taken: Judge Gladden - Yes; Miss Beharry - Abstained; Mr. Paluso - Yes; Mr. Petrosky - Yes; Mr. Mascara - Yes. She stated that $26,000 is not sufficient for the work that is still pending and for what work is projected in 1987.
