Washington, Pa., April 30, 1987
The Washington County Salary Board met in session in the Public Meeting
Room of the Courthouse Square Office Building, Washington, Pennsylvania, at
approximately 10:35 a.m. on Thursday, April 30, 1987, with the following members
being present: Commissioners Mascara, Petrosky and Paluso and Controller Beharry.
Also being present: Judge Gilmore; Mary J. Drewitz, Court Administrator; Chief
Clerk Dallatore; Linda Young, Clerk -Steno II; Marge Pennline and Janice Urban,
Personnel Office; Lou Lignelli, Director of Administration; Alan Alvarez, Seat Be_t
Coordinator; Ferdal Littleton, Chief Deputy Sheriff; Barb Davis, Administrative
Assistant; Phil Garrow, Publications and Information Coordinator; Jon Stevens,
Observer -Reporter; and Chris Buckley, Valley Independent.
Approval of Minutes
Moved by Mr. Paluso, seconded by Mr. Petrosky, that Minute No. 13-S-86
dated December 29, 1986, be approved as submitted.
Roll call vote taken:

Mr. Petrosky - Yes; Mr. Mascara - Yes.
Motion carried.
Chairman Mascara noted that approval of Minute No. 1-S-87 dated January 5,
1987, would be held in abeyance.
Chairman Mascara asked if there were any,.corrections, additions or omis-
sions to Minute No. 2-S-87 dated January 15, 1987.
Moved by Miss Beharry, seconded by Mr. Petrosky, that Minute No. 2-S-87
dated January 15, 1987, be approved with the inclusion of a notation that there
was a discussion held on the matter of Theresa Muto, an employee of the District
Attorney's Office, performing her contracted services for secretarial services
for the Crime Victim/Witness Program during lunch hours.

Motion carried unanimously.
At the request of Controller Beharry, Chairman noted that approval of

explained the reasons for this request. Discussion followed between Miss Beharry
and Mr. Lignelli.
Moved by Mr. Petrosky, seconded by Mr. Paluso, to CREATE a slot of Assistant
to the Chief Sealer as per above.
