Chairman Mascara asked if there were any corrections, additions or omissions to Minute No. 4-S-87 dated March 19, 1987, each member having received a copy. Moved by Miss Beharry, seconded by Mr. Paluso, that Minute No. 4-S-87 dated l March 19, 1987, be approved as submitted. DATA PROCESSING Michael Prascak, Director of Information Systems, requested the Board's approval of a salary increase for Jack Welty, Data Processing Manager, from $25,008.00 to $28,000.00. He noted that this request was based on a recommenda- tion contained in a study dated June 4, 1986, from Carnegie-Mellon University and based upon the services provided by Mr. Welty which have been above and beyond the call of duty. Some discussion followed. Moved by Mr. Petrosky, seconded by Mr. Paluso, approving a salary increase for Jack Welty, Data Processing Manager, from $25,008.00 to $28,000.00 as per above.
