Washington, Pa., October 20, 1988
The Washington County Salary Board met in session in the Public Meeting
Room of the Courthouse Square Office Building, Washington, Pennsylvania, at
approximately 10:45 a.m. on Thursday, October 20, 1988, with the following
members being present: Commissioners Mascara, Petrosky and Paluso and Deputy
Controller Cecchetti. Also being present: Chief Clerk Dallatore; Margaret
Pennline, Personnel Director; Janice Urban, Office Manager, Personnel Office;
Lou Lignelli, Director of Administration; Barb Davis, Administrative Assistant;
jJudi Lomago, Executive Secretary; Linda Hands, Clerk -Steno II; Linda Ritzer,
Observer -Reporter; and Harry Bradford, Valley Independent.
APPROVAL OF MINUTES
Chairman Mascara noted that approval of Minute No. 1-S-88 dated
January 4, 1988, would be held in abeyance.
Chairman Mascara entertained a motion to approve Minute No. 7-S-88
dated June 30, 1988, as written.
Moved by Mr. Petrosky, seconded by Mr. Paluso, approving Minute No.
7-S-88 as per above.
Roll call vote taken:

Relative to Minute No. 8-S-88 dated September 1, 1988, Chairman Mascara

!her memo a matter of record but would entertain a motion to approve the minutes
,as written.

on October 17.

koard. Discussion followed.

of four (4) per diem positions at the rate of $5.192.

Remarks: It was noted that these positions were being created in lieu of the
trusties doing this work due to the suspension of the trusty program.
