THE F€1REGOING MINUTE READ AND APPIOVED:

Office of the County Commissioners
Washington, Pa., December 28, 1953
Board of County Commissioners in regular session, those present being Messrs.
Pettit, Lane and Mazza.
Motion by Mr. Lane, seconded by Mr. Pettit, that a refund voucher in the amount
of $17.36, be made payable to First Federal Savings and Loan Association of Greene County,
Waynesburg, Pennsylvania, on property situate in the 3rd Ward of Monongahela City described as
Frame House, Garage, Lot, West Side, this tax was paid on August 1, 1953• This refund is being
made, due to the fact, that on August 1, 1953, the same amount of $17.36 was paid by harry J.
Ashcraft on the 1953 County Tax, creating a duplicate payment. Therefore, The Tax Claim Bureau
is authorized to prepare said voucher for the refund of this duplicate payment.
Motion carried unanimously.
)Motion by Mr. Lane, seconded by Mr. Pettit, that a refund voucher in the amount
of 25.73 be made payable to Paul Ciaffoni, R. D. 1, Box 307, Canonsburg, Pennsylvania, on
property situate in Cross Creek Township described as 78i acres surface McCorkle Farm, this tax
was paid on -August 5, 1953• This refund is being made, due to the fact, that Paul Ciaffoni
paid on the above property which is a duplication of property listed in the name of Silvio
Marcotto, this duplication was removed by Tax Adjustment on December 14, 1953• Therefore, The
Tax Claim Bureau is authorized to prepare said voucher for the refund of this payment on the
1953 County Tax.
Motion carried unanimously.
There being no further business to come before the Board at this time, the
meeting adjourned.
