The Organization of the Board of County Commissioners having been effected ac- cording to Law, upon motion duly made, seconded and carried, the meeting was adjourned in order that the Board might organize as the Washington County Institution District THE FOREGOING MINUTE READ AND APPROVED: !j7 n No. 169 A Gffice of the County Commissioner Washington, Pa., January 4, 1954 Board of County Commissioners in regular session, those present being Messrs. j Pettit, Lane and Mazza. Motion by Mr. Pettit, seconded by Mr. Mazza, that Ift1liam J. Lane, be appointed as a member of the Board of Directors to the Washington County Soil Conservation for a one-year term as the Commissioners representative. Motion carried unanimously. Motion by Mr. Lane, seconded by Mr. Mazza, that Matthew A. Powers, of Frederick - town, be appointed to the Washington County Housing Authority for a five (5) year term effective January !t, 1954,, This appointment is replacing Edward Haggerty, whose term expired. " Motion carried unanimously. Motion by Mr. Lane, seconded by Mr. Mazza, that Morris Webber, be appointed as a member to the Washington County Authority, for a two (2) year term, effective January 4s 1954. Motion carried unanimously. There being no further business to come before the Board at tbi s time, the iL meeting adjourned.
