Children over 2 years* .90 per day .90 " of Motion by'Mr. Lane, seconded by Mr. Mazza, that a refund voucher in the amount of $13.65, paid on August 312 1953, be made payable to Isaac R. & Margaret Vanvoorhes, on the property situate in Beallsville Borough, described as 2 Lots, 2 story frame house, Morgantown Road. This refund being made, due to the fact, that on August 31, 1953, the amount of $13.65, was again paid by Vanvoorhes on the 1953'County Tax. Therefore, the Tax Claim Bureau is author- ized to prepare said refund voucher for this duplicate payment. Motion carried unanimously. Motion by Mr. Lane, seconded by Mr. Mazza, that the Board for the Assessment and Revison of Taxes by authorized to exonerate Mellon National Bank and Trust Companyp trustee, etc., for sundry estates from any and all claims which the County of Washington has or might have against the said bank and trust company on account of personal property taxes for the years 1950 to and including 1953• Therefore, The Personal Property Department of The Tax Assessment Office is authorized to make the necessary adjustments. Motion carried unanimously. There being no further business to come before the Board at this time, the meeting adjourned. N0. 173 Office of the County Commissioners Washington, Pa., January: 18, 1954 Board of County Commissioners in regular session, those present being Messrs. Pettit, Lane and Mazza. Motion by Mr. Lane, seconded by Mr. Mazza, that Minute Nos. 163, 164, 165, 166, 167, 1680 169, 169 A, 170, 171 and 172, were read and approved. Motion carried unanimously. Motion by Mr. Lane, seconded by Mr. Mazza, that Alex Stathas, be appointed as an Assistant Foreman in the Bridge Department, this action retroactive to January 13, 1954. Motion carried unanimously. Motion by Mr. Lane, seconded by Mr. Pettit, that the County Controller be author- ized to advertise for photostat paper bids; sealed proposals will be received by County Control- ler, at his office in the Court House, Washington, Pa., until 11:00 a.m., E.S.T., Monday February 15, 1954 and opened immediately thereafter in the presence of the County Commissioners in the Office of the County Commissioners. Motion carried unanimously.
