PROPOSAL
The undersigned hereby propose(s) to do all the work in and about the furnishing
and loading upon the coustomers trucks the following amounts of air cooled blast furnace slag
for use upon certain Smith Township Roads in Washington County, and to furnish all labor, materi-
als and appliances required therefor; for and in consideration of compensation according to the
following schedule of prices.

3-a grading specification. F.O.B. $1.75 per net ton

The said prices to be in full for all labor; materials; royalties on patented
inventions, and for the doing of the said work complete.
In case this proposal is accepted and contract awarded to DUQUESNE SLAG PRODUCTS
CCKPANY; thereupon we will execute your form of Contract and Bond.
As a guarantee that we will enter into such contract and give bond as required, we
herewith enclose certified check pale to Washington County, Pennsylvania, for the sum of $10—N

Motion by Mr. Mazza, seconded by Mr. Pettit, that THE STANDARD SLAG COMPANY, 1200
Vick Bldg., Youngstown, Ohio, be awarded the contract for furnishing of slag to be used on
roads in Smith Township, for the sum of $2560.00; this being the lowest and responsbile bidder.
Motion carried.
There being no further business to come before the Board at this time, the meeting
adjourned.

the purpose of opening bids in order to do all the items of work in and about the Improvement
of the Washington County Airport; located on State Route #18, in South Franklin Township, Washing
