LANE, JOHN MAZZA, COMMISSIONERS 247 were opened on April 7, 1954, andtabled for further study. Those present at the meeting were Messrs. Lane and Mazza. Motion by Mr. Mazza, seconded by Mr. Lane, that the WASHINGTON BAR & RESTAURANT SUPPLY CO., 317 East Maiden Street, Washington, Pennsylvania, be awarded the contract for the furnishing and delivering of two (2) connercial gas ranges to the Washington County Jail, in the amount of $630.35, this being the lowest bid received and conforming with the specifications. Motion carried. Motion by Mr. Mazza, seconded by Mr. Lane, that the following Polling Place be changed as follows; due to the fact that the garage is no longer available. I Lane and Mazza. Motion by Mr. Mazza, seconded by Mr. Lane, that the following Resolution be adopted in connection with the Washington County Airport: ( R E S 0 L U T I d N WHEREAS, it has become necessary that the County of Washington, Pennsylvania, acquire a portion of the lands of Mrs. Sarah Clark Kelly, situate in South Franklin Township, Washington County, Pennsylvania, for the purposes of and in connection with the development, expansion and improvement of the Washington County Airport being undertaken in the vicinity thereof; and WfiEREAS, the said County of Washington has been unable to acquire the same through amicable negotiations, it is the desire of the said County to condemn the said land. NOW THEREFORE,, BE IT RESOLVED, that a portion of the lands of Mrs. Sarah Clark I Kelly, situate in South Franklin Township, Washington County, Pennsylvania, as shown on the plans prepared in connection with the development, expansion, and improvement of the Washington i County Airport now in progress in the vicinity thereof, be condemned for the purposes thereof and the County Solicitor is hereby authorized to take any and all appropriate steps and actions j to legally acquire the said land. Motion carried. Appropriate bond has also been executed for such amount of damages as she shall be entitled to receive after the same have been agreed upon by the parties, or assessed in a manner provided by the Laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, by reason of the appropriation of a portion of certain land belonging to the said Mrs. Sarah Clark Kelly, in South Franklin Township, Washington County, Pennsylvania.
