Motion by Mr. Lane, seconded by Mr. Mazza, that the following Polling Place be changed as follows; due to the fact that bickers Building is no longer available. Monongahela lst Ward, 1st Precinct From: Vickers Building, 124 E. Main Street To: Room of Mary Carbelli, 125 E. Main Street Rental: $25.00 ,Motion carried. Motion by Mr. Lane, seconded by Mr. Mazza, that the following resolution in regard to the sale of property for unpaid taxes by the Washington County Tax Claim Bureau be adopted. RESOLUTION NO. NAME OF PURCHASER DESCRIPTION OF PROPERTY AMOUNT SOLD FOR 323 Charles J. Gennaula adjourned. Motion carried. Being (60) acres of surface $400,00 adjoining land of George Galentine, Murray Lohr and Carson Blayney, situate in West Finley Township, Wash- ington County, Pennsylvania formerly owned by Mabel T. Office of the County Commissioners Washington, Pa., May 10, 1954 Board of County Commissioners in regular session, those present being Messrs. Motion by Mr. Lane, seconded by Mr. Mazza, that the following resolution of the Board of County Commissioners of the County of Washington, State of Pennsylvania, relative to the issue by the said County of a Note for One Hundred Thousand ($1OO,000.00) Dollars as a temporary loan, was presented, duly seconded and adopted by the said Board, to -wit: "WHEREAS., it has become necessary for said Board to borrow the sum of One Hundred Thousand ( 100,000.00) Dollars for the purpose of meeting current expenses for the year 1954, and to be payable out of taxes and other current revenues which have been assessed and are to be levied and collected by the County during the year 1954; now, thergfore, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of. the said County of Washing- ton, that for the purpose of providing funds for the payment of current expenses of the County, the proper officials of the said County are hereby authorized and directed to negotiate a tem- porary loan on such terms as may be agreed upon by them, payable out of taxes which are to be levied and collected during the year 1954, and so much of said taxes as may be necessary to repay said loan, with interest, is hereby set aside and designated for that purpose, and issue a note therefor, payable August 7, 1954, with interest from date of said note at the rate of one (1) per cent, per annum, free of all taxes levied by Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, which said taxes the County of Washington assumes and agrees to pay, said note to be negotiated and issued as follows: PEOPLES FIRST NATIONAL BANK AND TRUST COMPANY, WASHINGTON, PA ..................... $100,9000.00a.
