Board of County Commissioners in regular session, those present being Messrs.
Pettit, Lane and Mazza.
Motion b y Mr. Lane, seconded by Mr. Mazza, that resolution number 198-A provided
for the Airport issue and sale of the 120,000.00 bondissue is hereby amended in that section 8 j
of the said resolution is hereby deleted, and that the money from the said bond issue be deposit
ed in the General Fund of the County thus eleminating the necessity for a Sinking Fund. This
motion is designed to be retroactive to the date of the original passed resolution.
Motion carried unanimously.
There being no further business to come before the Board at this time, the meetin
adjourned.

Motion by Mr. Mazza, seconded by Mr. Lane, that the following resolution in regard
to the sale of Property for unpaid taxes by the Washington County Tax Claim Bureau be adopted.

Motion by Mr. Mazza, seconded by Mr. Lane, that the Board for the Assessment and
Revision of Taxes be authorized to prepare voucher for refund in the amount of $101,08 in favor !
of H. W. Trushell, et al, Hollidays Cove, West Virginia, covering 1952 County taxes paid at
discount on real estate assessment of 100 acres of active coal at $17,000 and 1,178 acres of
inactive coal at $82A60 - total assessment of $99,460. This assessment was corrected for 1953
to read 100 acres of active coal at $17,000 and 1,018 acres of inactive coal at $71,260, a dif-
ference of $11,200. This authorization was made by the Commissioners, sitting as a Board, to
correct the assessment for 1952, on which the taxes had already been paid, and to refund on the

difference of $11,200, this property is assessed in.Jefferson Township.
