Motion by Mr. Lane, seconded by Mr. Pettit, that Alfons S. Barcquk, who resides
at R. D. 1, Box 3792 Monongahela, Pa., be appointed as Assessor of Carroll Township to,fill the
vacancy which exists by the resignation of the elected assessor.
Motion carried.
Motion by Mr. Lane, seconded by Mr. Pettit, that Harry A. Smith, who resides at
R. D. 3, Washington, Pa., be appointed as assessor of South Strabane Township to fill the vacancy]
which exists by the resignation of the elected assessor.

bids for the construction of a new concrete driveway and sidewalks for the County School Office.

In accordance with the aforementioned advertisement, the following bids were

The undersigned hereby propose(s) to do all the items of work in and about the
construction of a new concrete Driveway and new concrete sidewalks on the premises of the County
School Offices located at #76 West Beau Street, Washington, Pennsylvania; that are shown by or
provided for in the Plan and Specifications prepared for said work by the County Engineering
Department and to furnish all labor; materials and appliances required therefor; for and in
consideration of compensation according to the following schedule of,prices.
