LANE, JOHN MAZZA, COMMISSIONERS NO. 218 Office of the County Commissioners Washington, Pa., August 4, 1954 Board of County Commissioners in regular session those present being Messrs. Pettit, Lane and Mazza. Motion by Mr. Mazza, seconded by Mr. Pettit, that William H. Atcheson, who resides at East Bethlehem Township, be appointed as Assessor of East:. Bethlehem Township to fill the vacany which exists by the resignation of Natale Cecchini. Motion carried. Motion by Mr. Mazza, seconded by Mr. Pettit, that the County Controller be authorized to advertise for bids for the furnishing and delivery of Tax Assessment Supplies for the year 1955, said bids to be received in the Office of the County Controller, Court House, Washington, Pa., until 11:00 a.m., daylight savings time, and opened immediately thereafter in the Office of the County Commissioners on August 20, 1954. Motion carried. There being no further business to come before the Board at this time, the meeting adjourned. THE FOREGOING MINUTE READ AND APPROVED: No. 219 Pettit and Lane. Office of the County Commissioners Washington, Pa., August 12, 1954 Board of County Commissioners in special session those present being Messrs. Motion by Mr. Lane, seconded by Mr. Pettit, that Nicholas Stathas, be appointed as a temporary employee in the Bridge Department, this action being retroactive to August 1, 1954. Motion carried. Motion by Mr. Lane, seconded by Mr. Pettit, that Jennie Comer, be appointed as a Cleaning Woman at the Court House; this action being effective August 12, 1954. Motion carried. Motion by Mr. Lane, seconded by Mr. Pettit, that the County Controller be authorized to advertise for bids for the furnishing and delivering of coal to the Jail House for the use at the Jail and the Court House for 1954-1955 season. Bids to be received by the County Controller in his Office in the Court House, Washington, Pa., until 11:00 a.m., Daylight Saving Time, Friday, August 27, 1954, and opened immediately thereafter in the Office of the Washington County Commissioners. Motion carried.
